Trinity Cremation Cemetery
Dedicated on Easter in 2019, the Trinity Lutheran Cremation Cemetery sits beneath the “Jesus Christ, the Light of the World” faceted glass window right outside of the Sanctuary. The placement of the Cemetery is intentional as it confesses the truth and hope of the Resurrection as those who are buried there still gather with us in worship in the Church Triumphant, while we, inside the Sanctuary, await the rest in Christ that they have been granted from their labors. Near the cemetery hangs a plaque engraved with the names of those dear departed Saints buried. A registry of those Saints can be found below. The Cemetery serves as an important reminder of our mortal life but also the verse from John 11:25, “Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.” This verse confesses the truth of Christ and His power to not only rise from the grave Himself, but also that He will surely raise all the faithful at the last.
